The New Marlborough Meeting House

The roof and steeple are currently undergoing complete restoration. On July 11, 1996, the contractors lifted the very top of the steeple to the ground using a crane. This section of the church is cyllander shaped and about 20 feet tall. The very top is a copper dome.

At about 12:30 the crane lifted the steeple from the church. Cars stopped on the side of the road to look, and it seemed as if an entire town of interested folk came out to watch this "historic" event.
