Although the Mount Greylock State Reservation spans the towns of Adams, North Adams, Williamstown, Lanesborough and New Ashford, it is the town of Adams where Mount Greylock's 3,491 foot summit
is found. Atop the summit is the Greylock War Memorial, a tower that provides a breathtaking panoramic view of the area.
Erected by Massachusetts in grateful recognition of the loyalty and sacrifice of her sons and daughters.
In War they were faithful even unto death.
