Maple Syrup -

Massachusetts Audubon Society - In Berkshire County, Massachusetts Audubon Society operates two scenic properties, Pleasant Valley and Canoe Meadows, offering natural history programs year-round to the public.

Massachusetts Bicycle Coalition - MassBike, the Massachusetts Bicycle Coalition, the statewide bicycling advocacy organization, also runs the annual MassBike Tour and Effective Cycling classes around the state.

Massachusetts Environmental Trust - You can help make this happen by buying the environmental license plate. The surcharge for the plate gaoes directly to the Massachusetts Environmental Trust and your commitment to a cleaner, sfaer healthier Bay State.

McLennan Reservation -

The Merwin House - Stockbridge - Gardens - Visitors will enjoy strolling through the gardens and down the lawn to the Housatonic River. The house is owned and maintained by the Society for the Preservation of New England Antiquities.

The Mission House - Stockbridge - Gardens - Moved to its present site in 1928 and restored, the Mission House is filled with period furnishings, including a bookcase and chairs belonging to Sergeant. In the colonial garden surrounding the house grow herbs and bright perennials.

Mohawk Trail - Built at a cost of $368,000 and was formally opened Oct. 27, 1914. The road forms the connecting link of the State highway from Boston to New York and the West and opens to automobilists a section of the beautiful parts of the Berkshire Hills, which were up to this time, inaccessible on account of the heavy grades.

Mohawk Trail State Forest -

Monroe State Forest - Monroe - A trip through any portion of the Monroe State Forest will provide the traveler with the opportunity to observe the variety and beauty of nature firsthand. This will be particularly true for those who are afoot and take a leisurely pace.

Monument Mountain Reservation -

The Mount, Edith Wharton Restoration - Lenox - Gardens - Formal flower garden and Italian walled garden designed by Wharton and her niece, Beatrix Farrand. A National Historic Landmark.

Mount Everett State Reservation - Mount Washington - The dome of Mount Everett (alt. 2,624) -- one of the highest mountains in the Berkshires -- is a scenic landmark. A short walk from the parking lot is rewarded by spectacular views. The Reservation is also home to many notable wild plant species.

Mount Greylock Ski Club - South Williamstown - Alpine, Nordic, and Telemark Skiing Snowshoeing, Hiking, and Camping. Member owned and operated since 1932

Mount Greylock State Reservation - one of the oldest and largest state parks in Massachusetts. Maintained by the Department of Environmental Management’s (DEM) Division of Forests and Parks on behalf of the citizens of the Commonwealth, Mount Greylock is a delight for naturalists, hikers, campers and people who want to enjoy spectacular views.

Mount Washington State Forest -Home to much of the indigenous flora of the southern Berkshires. Mount Washington State Forest is noted for its spectacular scenery and breathtaking views including Bash Bish Falls.
