Subject:Re: The Legacy of the Band-Read your article and you really got it. Interesting how none of the configurations ever have come close to the original. the sum was indeed greater than the individual parts. Robertson has sunk into Hollywood navel gazing and The Band can't write songs. One of the great (among many) tragedies surrounding the group and its individual members is the almost criminal underrecording of Garth Hudson. How about this-Garth Hudson and Bill Frisell-duets. I'd pay for that one. Again, terrific piece. Thanks.
