Subject:Another point of viewI just wanted to share another view point with you, and I'm sure you get many of them. I think as a listner to Jim Brickman's music, it has a deep meaning and is meant to be translated individually. So maybe he doesn't evoke a certain emotion in you, but if you just listen, it does have feeling and emotion. Your criticism also comments on no change in dynamics and such, this is just a move toward simplicity which allows me and I'm sure most people to clear there minds and relax for just an hour or so. I think if his music can relax people and put them at such ease that it doesn't need anything else. I may be the only person but when I listen to other classical music or music you approve of, it causes tension. It may start to relax you, but then there is a big crescendo and a loud finish that leaves me unsettled. Again, you are entitled to your opinion but I just wanted to offer another way to look at it. Sincerely, J. Beckey
