For February's Pick of the Month I have considered and chosen carefully as I want to give people more of an idea what Pick of the Month is all about. The very reason that I have picked Cobi's is to illustrate the variety and wealth of wares being offered in the Berkshires.

Cobi's Just A Second is an upscale store with very reasonable prices. It is not a store on the scale of Goodwill or yard sale bargains, but for the well dressed or professional woman it is a treasure of designer and brand names at great prices.

The clothing racks in the store are always well stocked with dresses, shirts, skirts and slacks. Many of the dresses are fairly dressy. The variety is extensive. Some are of the cocktail variety, some (many) are great for office or casual party wear and (my favorite) there is also a nice selection of funky 100% cotton dresses to be chosen from, all in immaculate condition. Some of the labels sported on the racks are Kiko, The Limited, Liz Claiborne, Calvin Klein, Sak's Fifth, Talbot's, DKNY, etc. Just to name a few.

Also there is a nice variety of suits, mix and match skirts and blouses. Their blouses are always well stocked.

Along the side wall are shelves stacked with household items. Usually you will find an array of cocktail and wine glasses, vintage statuettes, ashtrays and candlestick holders, vases, salt and pepper shakers, and other useful items. As far as I have seen she takes only the items that are in great or mint condition. Again priced so that you can,t resist.

And last but not least the jewelry cases surrounding the register area are well stocked with antique, vintage and contemporary items. The jewelry runs from casual, (sterling earrings , necklaces, bracelets and rings) to brooches and pearls, to classic rhinestones, silver and gold.

Cobi's Just A Second is for the woman whos tastes run from funky to dressing to the nines. Selection, quality and reasonable prices are available in abundance. Go in and see for yourself . The atmosphere is welcoming and a relaxing place for a browse. I suggest you check in from time to time to see what's new.

Or if you're planning a huge wardrobe change, check out Cobi's first and fill in with brand new later. It could cut your clothing costs in half and save you more for shoes and accessories.
