The premier professional-level community chorus in the Berkshires, performing major choral works for over thirty-five years. Founded in 1963 by our current artistic director Robert P. Blafield

Its purpose is to foster and cultivate interest in the musical stage and choral music; to provide training, practice and performance opportunities for the development of musical talent; to encourage composition and performance of contemporary opera; to establish scholarships for deserving students of vocal music; and to promote a greater appreciation and support of the opera, the musical stage and choral music.
