Goose Ponds
Consisting of 2 ponds, Upper, 45 acres and Lower, 239 acres. The former is an untouched archetypal jewel of wilderness New England lakes, with great hills rising hundreds of feet over the water, while the lower has cabins, as well as trees like white birch, red maple, white pine and willows lining its equally exquisite shores. Beaver, fox, vole and exotic aviaria are but a few of the many creatures you may encounter around Goose Ponds. Also note the spring wildflowers and numerous geophysical points of interest. No admission fee. These are public lands, open year round.
