 Consisting of 2 ponds, Upper, 45
acres and Lower, 239
acres. The former is an untouched archetypal jewel of wilderness New
England lakes, with great hills
rising hundreds of feet over the water, while the lower has cabins, as
well as trees like white birch, red
maple, white pine and willows lining its equally exquisite shores.
Beaver, fox, vole and exotic aviaria are
but a few of the many creatures you may encounter around Goose Ponds.
Also note the spring wildflowers
and numerous geophysical points of interest. No admission fee. These are
public lands, open year round.
