The Botanical Garden, unique in this area, is designed to demonstrate the variety of flora which can be grown in Berkshire County, as well as to show the interface between gardening and art. This latter mission is perhaps best exemplified by the current exhibit, aptly called "Sculpture in the Garden," containing 11 pieces of contenmporary sculpture arrayed along a winding path through the 15 acres of lush greenery. The Berkshire Botanical Gardens are open year round, offering workshops, demonstrations and public programs on all aspects of the gardening art.
Founded in 1934. Open Daily, 10-5, May through October. Gift shop
